When in Paris, you have to eat crêpes! I walked past loads of crêpe joints in Amsterdam and London prior to visiting Paris, but I held out knowing that we’d have the real deal in France. We were also meeting up with our homie Julien Pham who puts in werk at Fricote Magazine and I knew he’d take us to a legit spot. As expected, Julien had our backs and recommended an awesome place tucked in the Marché des Enfants Rouges, the oldest food market in Paris founded in 1615.

Situated in the middle of this charming Parisian market is Chez Alain Miam Miam, a sandwich and crêpe shop. Run by the friendliest, most entertaining and carefree man in Paris, Alain runs a solo operation whipping up crepes and sandwiches while singing, dancing, and schmoozing with customers. Alain is literally a one man show, so be patient, you could be waiting up to half an hour. The lemon crėpes are well worth it though! I hear good things about the sandwiches as well and from what I could tell, Alain does not fux around when it comes to laying on the ingredients.
